使用rs (employees) can tap Clock In on the 時計モード home screen to open the clock-in page. The process is: tap the clock-in button, choose 定期的なシフト or 余分時間, select a shift for a regular clock-in, choose a clock-in point, 及び then tap Start Work or End Work.

Enable GPS Location on a Phone

Follow these steps to let SwipePoint use your phone's location:

iPhone (iOS)

  1. Open Settings: From the ホーム Screen, tap Settings.

  3. Select Location Services: Tap Location Services 及び make sure it is turned on.
  4. Select SwipePoint: Scroll down, find SwipePoint, 及び tap it.

Android

  5. Select SwipePoint: Find SwipePoint in the list of apps with location permissions 及び open it.

SwipePoint can now obtain your precise location while you use the app. If your menu names differ, search Settings for Location or App permissions.

Enable Location Services on a Mac

Follow these steps to allow SwipePoint to use Location Services on a Mac:

  1. Open System Settings: Select the Apple menu in the upper-left corner, then select System Settings.

Follow these steps to let SwipePoint use Bluetooth on your phone:

iPhone (iOS)

Android

Older Android versions may also require location permission to scan for nearby Bluetooth devices.

Bluetooth is now available to SwipePoint. If SwipePoint needs a specific Bluetooth device, pair it from the phone's Bluetooth settings.

Enable Precise Location on a Phone

If your phone is connected to Wi-Fi but SwipePoint cannot find the clock-in point's Wi-Fi SSID, Precise Location may be turned off.

iPhone (iOS)

  1. Go to Settings > プライバシー & 安全 > Location Services > SwipePoint.
  2. Turn on Precise Location.

Android

  1. Go to Settings > Apps > SwipePoint > Permissions > Location.
  2. Turn on 使用 precise location.

Wi-Fi SSID Does Not Appear During 時計

If you are connected to Wi-Fi but see a 赤 X or the message Please connect to the Wi-Fi clock-in point when using a restricted Wi-Fi clock-in point, follow these steps.

Android

  1. Open Settings on your phone.
  2. Tap Apps.
  3. Tap SwipePoint.
  4. Tap Permissions.
  5. Tap Location permission.
  6. Turn on 使用 precise location.

iPhone (iOS)

  1. Open Settings on your phone.

Computer 時計

SwipePoint supports clock-in on Mac computers, including iMac, Mac mini, 及び MacBook. Supported methods are:

Phones support every listed clock-in method, including button, fixed or dynamic QR code, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, NFC Tag, 及び photo-assisted clock-in. Macs support button, fixed or dynamic QR code, GPS, Bluetooth, 及び Wi-Fi clock-in, but do not support photo or NFC Tag clock-in. A Windows computer running an Android emulator supports only ボタン 時計.

On the clock-in page, users (employees) can select 定期的なシフト or 余分時間.

Send My GPS Location

The clock-in point's settings determine whether the user must send a GPS location or may choose whether to share it.

If you cannot turn this option off, an administrator has made location sharing m及びatory.

Show Overnight

Tap Show Overnight to view yesterday's shift. This is useful for users who work across midnight.

Tap Tap Here to Take a 写真 及び follow the instructions. The photo uploads to cloud storage automatically.

Before this feature can be used, the organization creator must subscribe to the プレミアム Storage plan to enable cloud photo uploads.

Skip

If Skip appears, the organization allows clock-in without selecting a shift及び the user has no schedule.

Skip can be disabled in 管理モード > 組織 > My 組織. After it is disabled, users (employees) must select a shift before clocking in.

Start or End Work

On the clock-in page, select 余分時間. Tap Start Work to begin overtime及び End Work to finish overtime.

Completed clock-ins can be viewed in All 時計 Records. 使用 定期的なシフト for your normal start 及び end times. If you work overtime after your regular shift ends, complete the regular-shift clock-in process first 及び then complete a separate overtime clock-in process. This lets the system distinguish regular work from overtime. If you do not clock in separately for overtime, SwipePoint may calculate your working hours incorrectly, which could affect payroll or related records.

Reminder: If a user (employee) has not read an announcement, policy及び goal及び has not tapped I Agree for a policy or goal, the system prompts them again when they tap End Work. This helps ensure that the information has been read 及び acknowledged.

Start or End Work

Start/End ボタン Display Rules

SwipePoint remembers whether the user's (employee's) last action was Start Work or End Work. This helps maintain the expected sequence: after starting work, the next action should normally be ending work.

If a missed or incorrect clock-in causes SwipePoint to show the wrong action, follow these steps:

Open 時計モード, tap Clock In, 及び then tap 定期的なシフト. Select the appropriate shift. If you do not have a specific shift, tap Skip.

On the screen that displays Start Work or End Work, tap 更に below the button. Select the work status that correctly reflects your current situation. This resets the next clock-in action to the correct status.

When a user clocks in, the system automatically sends a push notification to the relevant people. 通知 are sent immediately to the creator, the highest-level administrator, 及び other administrators in the same group so they can monitor clock-in activity.

For NFC clock-in, make sure NFC is enabled, the NFC card is readable, 及び the phone's NFC sensing area is aligned correctly.

Q11: Can I clock in with a PC emulator?
